Our Approach

Three ways to our goal:

1. Encouraging Own Ideas

We select and support motivated students from war-torn regions and provide them with the qualifications they need to realise their own sustainable projects that contribute to a positive development of their home countries.

2. Improving Quality of Education

We support educational institutions in war-torn regions to enhance the standard of education for a broader group of students. We think that societies affected by crises are in particular need of young motivated people who can play an active role in their home country’s reconstruction.

3. Raising Awareness

We inform the German public about the situation in our target regions, for example by organising expositions, discussions, screenings of movies or public talks. We intend to encourage solidarity with people from war-torn regions and to boost support for reconstruction efforts. Furthermore, we aim to increase awareness of the concept of “Sustainable Development by Education”.

Last but not least, we intend to encourage students here in Germany to become better informed about the lives of their fellow students in crisis regions - and perhaps to become involved themselves!
