Local guarantors and partnerships

On the side of SOG the scholarship programme is taken care of by the Burundi AG and is also supported by the groups of Marburg and Frankfurt. In Bujumbura SOG is represented by Gratia Iradukunda who works for the realisation of the project. To ensure a transparent communication both partners are obligated to communicate formal as well as informal decisions as soon as possible. The communication between the local guarantor and the caring groups in Germany takes place in almost daily contact via e-mail. This ensures an informed coordination of the programme: despite the spatial distance the German groups have a reliable foundation for their decisions, thanks to the close communication and the knowledge of Gratia Iradukunda.
